The Unified Exploration League (UEL)

Putting our petty squabbles behind us as we reached for the stars, no one could have imagined what mankind would find in the cold harshness of space. Vast lush worlds have been found to colonize, but some are at a price new deadly threats have been encountered. Only the implacable will of mankind and its manifest destiny will stand fast in the way of the alien hoards. 

With the formation of the Unified Exploration League, military might was consolidated and put to work to protect all colonies and worlds now inhabited by humans.  Recent developments with the splintering of the Dominion have put a toll on the UEL forces, but no longer will they sit back and allow the Dominion to continue to rob from their ranks.  New partnerships with man races that have been encountered have led to new initiatives that will bring other non-human worlds into the fold of the UEL.  

The UEL is on the brink of becoming a major galactic power and could, in partnership with the Parici, become a major threat to the expansionist Glorious Draconid empire.   With the new addition of the Barad to their ranks, many changes within the UEL are coming as well as technological advances.  Their addition has bolstered the numbers that saw a decline with the defection of the Dominion.  

Recently with the split of the Dominion, the UEL was at a crossroads.  Should they submit to the demands of the Dominion and their humans-only policies, or continue embracing aliens and allowing them into their fold.  It seems the Dominion was a little too quick to move out on their own, as the expedition to Sarin’s Rim was a disastrous venture as the Agaracale fought back in numbers and ways unpredicted and deadly to the Dominion forces. The UEl has sent an expedition force to help resupply the Dominion as well as help them fight back the Agaracale threat to their Colonies on Sarin’s Rim.  Many in the UEl are hopeful that some sort of negotiations can be opened with the Agaracale and peace can be established.  Unexpectedly, a new thread shows up on Sarin’s Rim at almost the exact time that the UEL forces reached the sector.  Little is known of the Binox but they have descended upon Sariin’s rim to fight both the Dominion and the Agaracale for the resources of Sarin’s Rim.
