The Barad
As the news of the Draconids’ expansion spread throughout the galaxy, another alien race known as the Barad came forward with a plea for help. The Barad had been enslaved by the Draconids and forced to serve as their labor force for generations. They had been searching for a way to break free from their oppressors and saw the humans as their last hope.
Initial contact with the Barad proved disastrous, as the many cultural and societal differences between the Humans and the Barad needed to be overcome. The Barad are a noble race, steeped in tradition and their religious rituals, which the Draconids had all but ignored over the many years of occupation.
The UEL was hesitant to get involved in more conflict with the Draconids, but the plight of the Barad touched their hearts. They agreed to help the Barad in any way they could, even if it meant enraging the Draconids.
The Barad provided the humans with valuable information about the Draconids’ weak points and vulnerabilities. They also shared their knowledge of advanced technologies that could help turn the tide of the battle. The humans and the Barad worked together to devise a plan to free the Barad from their enslavement.
The battles were long and grueling, but the humans and the Barad fought with everything they had. They used their combined knowledge and technology to take the Draconids by surprise, attacking their weak points and disabling their vast network of defenses. The Draconids were caught off guard and overwhelmed, and the humans and the Barad emerged victorious.
With the Draconids defeated, the Barad homeworld was finally free. They rejoiced in their newfound freedom and thanked the humans for their help. The Barad and the humans formed a strong bond, and the humans promised to help the Barad rebuild their planet and start anew.
Now formally part of the UEL, the Barad are a valued ally in the war against the Draconids and any other threats that will emerge. Many challenges still remain, as now freed from the yoke of tyranny the Barad return to their ancient ways of the noble warrior and put themselves forth to prove themselves in battle. Whatever comes the Barad have vowed to make the Draconids regret their years of torment.
