Description
The Brood consists of an ever-expanding hive mind of various large and small insects. Gyant Parasites evolved from an unlikely genetic crossing of genetic material in one of the birthing chambers. Able to inject a specialized poison with their ovipositor, they can cause system changes within other file forms so that they will eventually mutate into another of the Parasite Brood. Wherever Parasite Broods are acting in the shadows, there will always be a Parasite Lord that oversees the infection and assimilation of new lifeforms into the Brood. They are in constant mental contact with the Hive mind and are able to manipular the populations into welcoming the coming Brood.
